If you’re looking to get out to the campground this spring in your new RV from National RV, take some time beforehand to get the space feeling like home. As a full-time RVer, ensuring your space is equipped to help you feel at home no matter where you go is the best way to enjoy your time at the campground. Learn more about our favorite RV tips to get your RV bedroom feeling homey below.
Over-the-Door Hanger
Getting an over-the-door hanger with a shelf and multiple hooks was a lifesaver for us. My husband and I like to keep our robes within easy reach, and I wear many cardigans regularly. These have all been kept on the back of the door instead of our closet, clearing up a lot of space for us.
Get the Bedding that You Want
If a great night’s sleep is what you want at the campground, equip your bed to make that possible. We spent an afternoon picking out new sheets, a blanket, a comforter, and a few throws and pillows to make the space feel cozy. Additionally, putting a mattress topper on the bed made a huge difference for our quality of sleep, too.
Figure Out Laundry Storage
This is an ongoing progress for us. Ultimately, organizing your laundry while at the campground depends on the layout of your RV and, specifically your RV’s bedroom. If you have a laundry chute in your bedroom, that’s great. Problem solved. If not, you’ll need to find a basket that fits into your closet or a corner of the room to give you an easy space to toss your dirty clothes.
